When Netwatch was established in Carlow in 2003, no other company was offering a proactive video monitoring service. Since then, it has spent more than two decades refining and enhancing its solutions and remains committed to delivering an exceptional service to its customers.
Netwatch transformed the security industry by introducing the first proactive video monitoring system that, unlike conventional CCTV systems, enables immediate intervention when a security perimeter is breached. Traditional video monitoring typically responds to incidents in one of two ways. When a crime is already in progress, monitoring personnel verify an alarm activation before contacting the emergency services. Once a crime has occurred, monitoring providers supply recorded footage to assist with investigations, support prosecutions and help protect organisations from liability.
While these services are valuable, they do not prevent crime from taking place.
